VideoLAN has a cross-platform multimedia player called VLC Media. You can use it to read the stream from the network or show video read directly on the computer under all GNU/Linux flavors, all BSD flavors, Mac OS X, BeOS, Windows, Solaris, QNX, and Familiar Linux.
